    Thanks everybody for the bday/anniversary wishes!
    We had a good day out.....we went to Springfield and picked up an old unisaw to part out/sell, after we grabbed that we went to a few stores & had lunch, then down to Branson and stopped in at bass pro to handle a Henry 9mm carbine.....then we headed back into the good o'l boonies & home!

    Morning all. Blue sky and sunshine this morning. Mom is coming over for a hearing appt. We are working on getting the RV ready as well. Lots of odds and ends to do.

    Today is going to be a nice day 79/54 clear skies
    Please be patient and be careful on the roads we all know how people get when the weather is nice
    Also since the nice days are just starting make sure to pay a little more attention for people on motorcycles

    Planning to work in the shop today.

    Yesterday morning Sam and I went to the lake before breakfast, then shop work.
    In the afternoon Tom and I moved another stack of pine.

    Time to remove the deck wood rack and clean up any wood debris.

    Also time to clean out and vacuum the van. It's become a place that has collected stuff over the past month.

    Good Morning. It was a late one for us last night. We just got my wife’s father’s home hospice set up for him to be comfortable. He is 92 and at peace with the lord Jesus. It is still hard for all of us to see this once strong man so frail now. Del was a Lt Col in the Air Force, and later a commercial Leer Jet pilot, then finally a 757 flight instructor for Northwest Airline/Delta. Del flew many (now declassified) gunship helicopter missions with the Green Hornets in Vietnam for army special forces team insertions into Cambodia. Among many awards and achievements in battle, received the Purple Heart for wounds suffered from enemy ground fire during a mission. He was helping all his children and grandchildren with building projects and moves well into his 80s.
