buzz-saw and I have been planning a cut. Mother nature's rainy weekends delayed our plans and today it finally came to fruition. His virgin MS400 seeing its first action. IMG_5325.JPG Some red oak from my "Asplundh's caboose" score had been set aside for us to work. Couple hours work yielded two face cords. Face cord in his trailer and the same in my PU. IMG_5322.JPG IMG_5323.JPG IMG_5324.JPG IMG_5326.JPG IMG_5327.JPG IMG_5328.JPG Some was too hollow and punky for our liking and left behind. IMG_5330.JPG IMG_5329.JPG Good time as always. Overcast and not too warm so a great day to cut wood.

I meant to ask how the back was feeling after we unloaded at your place. Maybe the Mrs. will give you a nice massage? ;)

It’s ok. Not sure what we did added to it or not.

It is nice , at least to me.
Great power to weight ratio. Running a 20-inch bar buried was not a problem at all.
No doubt that this will be 1/2 of the two-saw plan from now on.

Love my 400 too. If I had a two saw plan it'd be the 400 and 261.

Managed to get time to get what was on trailer split. Really nice , clean and straight. Off to get stacked in the back. Still have about the same from what was on the truck. IMG_2068.jpeg
