Fun Day In Central Pa

    Started running out of room on the storage pile..... Start.jpeg So we fired up new splitter and my old one and ganged up on the pile
    Double.jpeg Split out load of poplar for friends holiday burning

    Then started building next years for sale pile...
    ForSale.jpeg Left some poplar out for another friend's camp burning and ended up with some more room to go hunting...

    I agree. Fun day. Nice piles you got there. It's nice when you got 2 splitters going at once. Nice trailer you got there. What kind of trailer is it and how much weight can it hold. Job well done...

    Not sure of brand, bought used

    It is 7000 gvw. I do know I can get 2.5 cords in it if I stack it. Not sure how much weight I have hauled in it, but pretty sure a little more than the limit. No wood pieces left behind!

    Well done, Greg! I just finished splitting up the cherry and black birch from last week's jobs, most of that stuff will go into the maple syrup evaporator pile.

    I actually really enjoy splitting. Looks like a fairly shaded area you have there, nice place to split wood!

    Lots of hard work being done, but if you have had weather like us its perfect for it! Always nice to have that many helping hands. Im headed up to central PA this weekend (cherry springs state park), hoping the good weather holds out for some sweet stargazing.
