Going down to 28 tonight so Ill be sparking up later. Hopefully my peppers, rhubarb, and new grass make it through the freeze tonight. My peach trees buds are probably done for though.

Heading to the low 20's tonight. Clear skies, calm winds.

That should take care of the lower temps like that for awhile now.

Yep. It was 28° at 6am here. More catalpa, and ash in the stove. Overnight I had a small red oak split in the stove to accompany the catalpa and ash. I at least had she nice coals this am from the oak split.

44° out now, going to 51°

I have 3 people asking if I want wood/ logs. Not enough time in the day with a full time job to be able to get it right now. She I know will be there in a couple weeks, so not a problem. Now if they'd deliver, then yes. But they won't, they don't have the capability to do that, and just want the wood out of their yard.

Good morning all, 34 here and climbing with full sun. It was 22 last night so this morning is a quick pellet stove run to get the house warm than 59 it was. Pellets are going to be shut down as we work outside for the day. We got 2 truckloads of composted cow manure yesterday and we spread that out in the garden. Today is back to the wood pile.

Pretty safe to say this is the last one?

Ever notice just how goofy some weather forecasts really are?

"Showers and thunderstorms before 4pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 4pm and 5pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 5pm."

..............so it looks as if there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms today?

60/26 here, lit the pellets up, going to burn for an hour and shut it down. Then heading over to a farm equiptment auction with a friend, lots of goodies there, as they say on TV " if the price is right".

Temps rose overnight. 61 this morning and it is supposed to get up into the 70's. We got .4 inches of rain yesterday and overnight. More rain coming tonight and tomorrow. Things are greening up fast. I just noticed buds on a SBH that is close to the house.
