The top of the T posts got wired up . Put my new hookeroon to work, nice tool, saved me a lot of reaching and bending , It doesn't work so good on small splits ,but I used the tongs for those to save my back.

all white ash some bark some not, the other stack, on the end with the tarp in the first picture is sugar maple I got some more of that stacked to
Yea i need to get a hookeroon or a pickaroon. its on the never ending list! stacks are looking good, obviously the wire helps keep those t post from getting catawampus?

Never tried wiring the tops of the posts before and just curious why you do that. I have never had a post let go even after 4 years of being stacked.
Well I had a little space I could walk through it one spot, and last year they leaned over so I couldn't go through there anymore, and I recently had one fail so I wired em up. Depends on the soil you're putting them in I guess maybe they're not long enough there six foot pounded in 2 feet
