I see some Red Oak in the pile. I have a steady pine customer, so I could cut out the clean pieces. Told him I could get to it in a week or two and he says his wife wants it gone asap. I said no problem if someone gets to it first. If it’s an emergency they should have spent extra for the cleanup. I already got one felling side job booked ahead of cleaning up someone else’s mess.
Yes the last Virginia Pine I split had been on the ground for more than a year and it was full of resin. I burned some of it outdoors and it burned like it was soaked in Kerosene. Great for a massive flaming fire pit show.
