Finally got out.

Good load today. Had to leave the trailer at work, had a wheel bearing go out. Thos was Friday evening.

 

First thing this morning.

Todays work. Forgot to get a picture of the 2nd load. 3 total

 

Sunday load. Usually save Sunday for rest but I'm on a time constraint with this wood.

 

Loaded above the cab. Making The Wood Wolverine proud.

Wish yall could see how easy this Red Oak is splitting. I took a video but have no way of posting it. 24 inch block took 3 swings too 1/4. 1 to half and one each to 1/4 each half. To bad all wood couldn't be this easy.

 

Looking good there, my friend. Those logs on the ground is where that bow saw will shine, especially the smaller ones.

 

Yeah there's not much better than fresh cut red oak.

Didn't have enough cut to get a full load. I sure do need a 3/4 ton long bed, that way I can overload it to. Started at 4:10 and had it split and loaded at 4:35. Not to shabby.

Was ready to get home. Had a tough day at work physically and mentally. I usually don't have to bad day but had to fire my helper yesterday. He's a good guy just couldnt make it to work on time, was late every day.

 

Thats tough. Kinda had a rough Monday myself. Firewooding is good therapy.

 

Yes sir it is. I really appreciate it because it's totally different than mechanic work.
