    Yes....this. Have you run a 500i? In for a treat when you do.

    Mine will pull a 36" bar with full skip chain. Keep the 394 for such purpose.

    I usually rely on Huskihl for any diagnosis and get parts thru him or order them myself. Luckily I have plenty of saws to fall back on.

    A 394 is my bucket list saw to own. If the one you've got has treated you well this whole time, hang on to it. They aren't getting any easier (or cheaper) to find.

    Well it looks like my mind has been made up for me. A coworker called and offered an early 80's Remington 700 bdl in 06 and a Ruger super Blackhawk in 41 mag for a really good price. Hard for me to pass this up.

    If buZZsaw BRAD would get some Xtra sausage on that 500i, it would pull that 36" and more.
