Just learned that these exist. My work is a distributor, so I'm going to give it a try. Might be next fall before I can give a good review. Looks like they are trying to compete with the vaunted X27. I'm getting it for a great price so what the heck.

Part # is 35192 (HVE-4) if anyone is interested.

Seems there are no original ideas left, they just copy what's already out there. :picard:

Well it is a good design to copy. The Fiskars are amazing splitting axes.

I know this is an old post but felt i would respond. My 2 cents would be to give my business to the company that originally designed the product, Fiskars invested time/effort/creativity to design a great mall - the X27. Buying from this company is just rewarding bad behavior.

If I went by this mentality, I'd only ever drive a Mercedes Benz?

I finally bought myself an X27 a couple months ago and I like it. I only went with the Fiskars because that's what Big Box Orange had available when I walked in. My coworker has the Truper equivalent, which I tried out before buying the Fiskars. In my very unprofessional opinion, they're the same dang thing. For the amount of wailing on rounds I do, the Truper would've been fine. If you got yours at a great price, da heck with da haters RCBS

At least your X27 has a warranty should you break it. Be sure to keep it out of my hands!:D:axe:
