Pellet heads!! What's up today?

Not surprised. The 3" of frozen crud on the front stairs was super heavy, imagine the roof was very similar

 

So after a couple months of tests, meetings, etc., Lori got the call from Lahey yesterday that she is now on the liver transplant list. If we get the call we have an hour to respond and then get down to Lahey. Relieved but yet feel more nervous.

It could be worser.

 

That is fantastic news. Need to keep her and you away from those little germ factories or other avoidable close contacts.

 

Did someone say snow then ice? Insurance and roof guy have already been here, tree made it into one of the bathrooms.

My poor little utility trailer took a hit and lost. Drawbar, hitch union and jack all toast.

One household member just bought that Jeep a few weeks ago, then a tree falls on it... here he is surveying the carnage.

Power was out for 4 days 3 nights, around 8-10 gallons of gas per 24hrs, not a very efficient way to make electricity. Coincidentally, I had changed the oil and did what was probably the first valve lash it's ever seen about a month ago.

Power company congregated just down the road the day the power came back on, I lost count at 8 or 10 big service trucks. One guy said they had been waiting for parts to complete needed repairs, I can believe that with resources stretched thin as they were for a while,

 

A town next to me had to wait for poles and transformer. I think they then discovered they needed a ledge truck (that may have been a different town - hard to keep track). Took 10-12 hours of a whole bunch of trucks and people to get it all back up and running - and that was on day 3 or 4.

Saw this on FB yesterday from my local TSC. They usually keep plenty of pellets, even at the end of the season. I still have plenty so don't need any, but for those who do, that may be an issue.



I saw that the local Aubuchon's still has pellets out front of their store, but don't know how much they have in the warehouse (it is a pretty small store). Wonder if Agway still has any. Hopefully, everyone can get what they need with the storm a brewing.
