We have some flowers popping up here in southern PA. Guess it’s time to start cleaning all the leaves out of the beds.
We still have some buttercups blooming Our Japanese magnolia One of our red plum trees and forsythia is in full bloom. Sure hope we don't have a late frost. Might have to spray them down with water if it gets cold.
Miz Carol's "flower bed" is in full show... A good sing of spring are the azaleas beginning to open... And the 1st butterfly I've seen... I can't remember the name of this shrub, but it's still pretty The snowball bushes are loaded with buds...
Some very nice pics of spring greenery and flowers, it nice to see, as we got 2'' of snow tonight and everything is white again.
Thanks. It is a pear. I believe they're "Callery" pears. They have thorns on them. From what I understand they're the offspring of Bradford and other ornamental pears. If the "fruits" from them sprout that's what grows. They revert back to their wild form.
A young Prairiefire Crabapple A young Robinson Crabapple I can't remember what these are called but I planted several bulbs from a pack in the fall. It looks like they're starting to spread. I think this is phlox.
bogieb might know what these are. I thought they were Japanese Anemone but it is too early in the year for them.
