    Not sure.
    Never really gave it much thought.
    I have a 5yr old and a 3wk old infant at home. My saw building time is limited to 10mins here and 20mins there.
    I spent too much time on other peoples equipment this summer when I had my own projects to work on. Most of the time I don't charge enough for my time and labor for fear of losing a return customer. I can tell you that I've actually lost money this summer on most projects. With the exception of Phil's stuff. He pays me with saws and parts that are worth the effort. Other guys don't wanna pay cash, they wanna trade junk or pay what they feel is reasonable when they know they're low ballin ya! So I've decided to limit my services to those willing to pay and of course my BFF.

    Who builds a 290 with a 290 top end? The guy with 2 identical blown up 290's with enough parts to build one as a 290 and one as a 390. The 290 got done first. Stay tuned for project 390.

    I don't kind paying what people deserve. .

    I hear ya on the time. I have a 3 yr old daughter and 13 yr old son... Time is limited.

    Picked up some Dremel stuff today and ordered a few more carbide burrs.
    Looking into a Foredom as well.

    Wow! When that vid spreads watch used 290 prices go up. I might have to box some parts up, use cash for packing and see what it gets me.

    Yea I seriously am thinking about what the "fair" rate is. I have a 390 that would like to run like that!!

    Higher than they already are? 290s in good cosmetic condition hold their value better than any other model.
