You have a great thing going here. I love the pics! All this talk of changing oil reminds me, I need to maintenance up the splitter like right now. If it will stop raining I have a lot of wood to cut up and split.

Finished up another half cord rack this afternoon in a light rain. Beech, black birch and sugar maple. IMG_5025.JPG

Eleventh load today. Was going to get the birch on the hill but nobody home when i rang the bell. Stopped up the road for some primo straight pignut hickory. Rather cranky guy answered the door and said no. Well its the worst thing he couldve said. Ended up where i last cut last weekend.
Bit of work for some goldilocks sugar maple IMG_5036.JPG and dead ash to top it off. IMG_5037.JPG IMG_5038.JPG Left the oak behind. IMG_5039.JPG Worked in short sleeves with temps in the mid to upper 60's. Plan to hit it again next weekend.

Split the maple right off the truck yesterday. Bundle wood splits on the right. IMG_5040.JPG IMG_5041.JPG Ash rounds set aside until I have a rack for them.

Passed the score on the way home Wednesday and noticed another guy cutting. Planned on cutting the black birch on the hill (post #151 above) and it and the oak was gone, but this TP had been cut across the street. Need more SS wood to mix with bundle wood. IMG_5086.JPG IMG_5087.JPG IMG_5085.JPG Probably close to a couple face cord as I really packed in on there. IMG_5088.JPG IMG_5090.JPG Was really riding low. Camera case for scale. IMG_5091.JPG What was left. May grab it tomorrow. IMG_5089.JPG Twelve loads total for the score. I wasn't expecting that much and four cords was my goal, but currently somewhere in the neighborhood of six. IMG_5092.JPG

I have a flip phone. $15 a month. Five years old and takes chitty pics.

With my clumsy "old man" hands smart phones don't like me, nor do I like them. Had an iphone years back, but when it died I went back to a flip phone then a couple years phoneless. This one over five years old and makes calls and sends texts which is all I want from it.

Right on brother!! I had a flip phone and a camera until 2021. I could chuck that thing at concrete walls and it would work better. LOL. I've cracked a few smart phone screens. Most people in my area had their flip phones quit working cause the "provider upgraded the towers." Or as I call it, "provider got greedy."

I just imagine the company meeting for cell phone manufacturers. How can we increase profits? Let's sell people an overpriced phone. Great idea!! Lets also make a slightly different camera every year, and sell it to them again. Great idea!! Lets also make it out of glass!!:hair:

Great job on that score, my friend. You have a hauled a lot of wood from there.
Maybe you could get some air bags on the truck, that would really help.

I miss my old flip phone.

Fixes ride height, still overloads rear axle/tires.

Worked on splitting nuggets from the past few scores as they were piling up. IMG_5152.JPG Nearly filled up left side with mixed hardwood. Right side is mulberry and black locust mix. One cord bin split in half IMG_5154.JPG IMG_5155.JPG
