    I have that deliberately. I have USAA and the insurance was way cheaper that way. I have an app on my phone and the phone has to be on. I don't go out but once or twice a week and then it is only about 10 miles round trip. Hate to pay those inflated fees. My driving habits are very conservative.

    How long of a haul you have with that job?

    You keep hauling from same place to same place? Or does destination change regularly? Does that trailer dump? Or unload out the bottom?

    it’s a 120 mile haul one-way. We are actually taking all of the coal ash from a pit an old NSP (excel energy) power plant that was taken off line and is an EPA superfund clean up. This project both locations are fixed.

    these are all side dump trailers

    the picture above was just the load site with the truck in front of me being loaded. That’s a cat 340 excavator. About a 12 1/2 ft tall machine to the cab. The semi is 12 1/2’ tall too.

    Shoveled this morning and when I was done, I had to begin all over again it was coming down so hard@

    Ended up shoveling 3 times today


    Just finished up plowing. Now it can melt-again.
