Beech, Sugar Maple & Red Maple

    The day started off getting this downed Beech, the biggest part was rotten.

    The next wood was the Sugar & Red Maple that Mother Nature put down, I hauled out a total of three loads today.

    I don't, the wife likes mowing it. I'm just grabbing all the downed stuff I can before the trail clearing gets going again.

    We hit 28 last night so that should take care of the grass.

    It's been a good hill for wood this summer, last years May storm did some big damage on this hill. I still have some big Cherry down on this same ridge, if I get it all by next fall, I'll be lucky.

    I worked on a good size uprooted Cherry on this hill during the summer, I still have some nice rounds of Maple up there.

    This is the wood I brought out yesterday along with some other Maple I had split.

    I tested on split for the heck of it, 33 percent.
