The day started off getting this downed Beech, the biggest part was rotten. The next wood was the Sugar & Red Maple that Mother Nature put down, I hauled out a total of three loads today.
How do you find time to mow the lawn? I hope it stops growing soon so I can have more time to play in the woods! Nice grab! Said it before, but you got some really nice woodlands there!
I don't, the wife likes mowing it. I'm just grabbing all the downed stuff I can before the trail clearing gets going again. We hit 28 last night so that should take care of the grass.
Well said, This twice a week mowing is getting old. Nice find there Woodlands, Straight with not many limbs
It's been a good hill for wood this summer, last years May storm did some big damage on this hill. I still have some big Cherry down on this same ridge, if I get it all by next fall, I'll be lucky. I worked on a good size uprooted Cherry on this hill during the summer, I still have some nice rounds of Maple up there.
This is the wood I brought out yesterday along with some other Maple I had split. I tested on split for the heck of it, 33 percent.
