I put a little bit of the maple on the fire last night before bed. So I woke up to this: :fire: :D A toasty 73 degrees in the house!

    I did the same Shawn.
Had a fire with a couple splits of pine and smaller Maple kindling before bed.
The house was about the same temp this morning as it was when I went to bed.
    Went down to mid-30's.

We escaped the killing frost. We are high up on the side of a hill. However our fire was lit and kept us toasty warm while running on its lowest setting.

Wow, some low numbers for this time of year. We got to 44 last night, fired up the 602 for a morning fire today.
Calling for some warmer temps for sunday.

I'm bracing for 87 feet of snow and 1000 degrees below zero temps.
    We're all doomed.

Nope! I would use a hair dryer to melt it. No shoveling at all.

I could probably just let Casper out the door running.
I'm sure he barrel a tunnel right out to the......well, the rest of the snow. Actually, he'd fast freeze before he got more that a couple inches.
Come to think of it, we'd all be frozen before that.
Like I said, we're all doomed.
What a ray of sunshine I am this evening, eh?

Frost on the windshield this morning, but no fire since it was a work day. That didn't stop me tonight though.
