You had to dig back in the files to find this thread! But as for the time, I still don't like it, but it actually doesn't affect me a whole lot.

I love it. I'd rather we just keep DST year round. Getting dark at 5pm sucks.

Getting light an hour later sucks just as much imo.

I was up at 7:30 am today, that's the corrected 1 hr lost time. It seems every year this time, that the loss of an hour of sleep really kicks my butt. It takes me like 2 weeks to fully adapt.

Right, I'd rather have it light later in the evening than earlier in the morning. Obviously I'm not a morning person. Lol

One of the few things in life that I can honestly say I hate is this ridiculous ritual.
I’m with you sir. I don’t need it light out @ 9:00 at night when I need to be getting to bed. I do love the early morning sunrises though. Best part of my day. To each his own I suppose.

We have one province in Canada that doesn't change their clocks for daylight savings time. Saskatchewan We have a sister living there.

I wish they'd just pick one and stick with it. Personally, I'm fine with darkness at 9pm in the summer vs 10pm. When I was younger I leaned the other way.

Just saw on the news this morning that dst was put in place back during the war so the public people would conserve energy
The news also said that the farmers were against dst

It doesn't matter to me either way, truthfully. At least then i can get used to one way forever instead of adjusting twice a year.

I am like your cats and the dogs that I have had . My clock doesn't change. I just wake up an hour earlier in the winter or on time during the summer however you look at it. I haven’t really heard a good argument for it. The sun comes up and goes down pretty consistently depending on your location and time of year. Deal with it.

Livestock doesn't care what time we say it is, especially milk cows, they need to be milked. Farmers start when it's light so don't really care what time the clock says either.
