Run the splitter for a couple hours on mostly ash and maple. IMG_1864.jpeg The girls have been asking for a play house and I needed to find a place for a fire pit stack. So we stared on this the other day. Not done yet but the girls have been a lot more helpful with the stacking. Figure I’ll run a line between the trees and put a tarp over it for a roof. Not sure how I’ll attach the sides yet but it’s a start. IMG_1851.jpeg IMG_1852.jpeg IMG_1866.jpeg IMG_1863.jpeg

    A wood fort!

I've been thinking about stacking like that and throwing a tarp over the top. Free storage shed until it's time to burn. Since I'm on the 5 year plan, I'd have the shed for a while. I'm just worried that in a wind storm the tarp might get ripped off and bring down the walls with it.

Yeah, thats a concern. I’m looking at attaching the sides to a post in the ground or something. Not sure yet. I’ll figure it out when we get it stacked up higher.
