Always feel like I'm in a lumber yard whenever I cut some pine.

Echo XS4910 makes a great bucket saw companion when up in the air, IMO.

Is Virginia pine denser than other softwoods?

The only pine I deal with is Eastern white which is very soft.

No, it’s typical pine soft and grows everywhere. I’d say it’s the predominant pioneer species around here unless there’s Bradfords nearby.
I’m going to stock pile some Pine, so I don’t have to burn so much of my premium inventory and give bags of it to customers.

If someone has a short mill...;)...
Was just trying to get it on the ground. Some I may take to a friend to mill.

You finally got a 500!?

If not still a sexy saw. Have to give mine some trigger action, but I've seen to fall in love with my 400,

Quite the balancing act for a crotch that size...

Of course my wife wouldn't even notice the snag, the chainsaw, or the cut. She would be commenting on all the spring flowers that are popping up... It's kinda nice that she doesn't pay attention to the saws...
