    You may have a few $$$ there! I had heard something about production for them about 1980 or so, I could be wrong but lawnboy comes to mind was or did produce them. I also think someone tryed to make a snow mobile with the rotory motor also… Anyway, It'll be interesting to here more GS, keep us posted:popcorn:

    Makes sense now! I remember seeing a TV commercial, "YEARS" ago for Arctic Cat Snow mobiles and I "think" they were advertizing the rotory engine in it. As up North like some of you folks, we don't get to many snow mobile advertizements here in Southern NJ, I think thats why it's sticking with me:confused:

    I have seen a couple old Ski Doo snowmobiles in VT that had the Wankel motor in them. Those machines took a beating. They used to fix the motors nighlty in camp and defrost the carb on the wood stove.

    Yup my neighbors had one for years and years. She said they purchased it at sears but couldn't remember when. It was a cool little machine.

    Neither. No piston. It's a rotary engine similar to a Mazda RX-7, etc.
