I used less but that seems to be common lately. I just like it cooler in the house the older I get. Used to struggle to keep the house warm now I struggle to keep it from being too warm.
Used about 1.5 - 2cords of mostly shoulder wood. Bunch of stuff my sister collected as she cleans the forests. Someone’s gotta burn it.
Also brought in some Black Locust for the cold spells which we had a few short spates. I’m burning the BL now to get rid of it.

I'm probably at or just over 3 cords. 4.5 -5 is average. My stack shows more used since I gave half cord to my BIL. It is march, and the fat lady hasn't sung yet.
Though I think she's warming up, I hear geese migrating north

I have a lot of trees drug up to the landing where I CSS but I haven't processed a single piece! We are having one of those winters were it rains every weekend. It has been too wet to do much back there. The high is 45 today and it has been raining since Thursday and looks like will continue through Monday. Ugh!

Yep the El Nino/La Nina stuff is a real thing. There's a few locals around me that still think it's all hogwash, but I think this year proved that it's a real phenomenon when the scientists called it exactly several months before it happened.

I'll be processing my normal amount of firewood this year to add to my "surplus" amount that I'm ending with this season fully expecting a worse than normal year next year.

Just saw this, and will try to get some pictures after work today. Guessing we used 2 cords so far but hard to tell as I have hauled some in plus what is on hand. Need to haul a few more cords in and should be in good shape for a few years at least, maybe. Plus I need to remember that a neighbor got a new stove so will be burning again next year, hasn't burned for a few years now. Be nice to get a couple of cords of faster drying stuff set up for him.
