It rained off and on all day, so we did get more rock. Got 1 more load for the camper port.
2nd load fit our budget nicely. When a truck is overloaded, they have an area where they dump off the extra, so grades can be mixed.
Got this load of mixed for $5/ton...about $25 for it... 20240301_141406.jpg
Spread this in an area where dirt had washed off the tree roots, drive thru was rough... 20240301_183850.jpg
Got to see some of the heavy equipment at work...
Loader was moving graded rock to the piles... 20240301_093323.jpg 20240301_093304.jpg
Then we got to see a off road truck bring a load to the crusher... 20240301_093359.jpg

Good morning. We were whipsawed in temperatures last week going from 65f down to 3, then back up to 60. Now we are sitting at 34 and heading to 70 tomorrow I heard.

Heading up to a decoy and sporting collectibles gathering this morning with a a friend.

    Good morning, members.

Cloudy day ahead. 35⁰/48⁰ heavy rain after noon.

My buddy is helping me move some split red oak from my SIL's to here. Cross-town trip.

Not much more on the docket other than Bruins hockey tonight.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

    Good morning y'all.

    32/72 sunny.

Planning to make sawdust today, have a few more walnut logs to saw up and one 12' hickory that I'm at least going to attempt to cut... will see if it wants to be milled......if not, it'll go into the smoking wood pile.

    Y'all have a blessed day!

Thanks, hopefully they don't self-destruct too much during the drying process.

Morning all. Overcast with sun shining around the edges. Below freezing this morning. I don't know what we will get for precipitation. I guess it depends if it warms up.

The leper was in despair. He hadn't been able to go home, talk to people, get a hug from his wife or go to work. He lived in poverty and rags. He heard that Jesus was coming and he knew Jesus could heal him. It took a while to find out where Jesus was and when he did, he headed there. People yelled at him but he was focused on Jesus. His plea for healing was answered as Jesus touched him and healed him. His joy was overwhelming as he headed to the priests to be declared clean.
Jesus' power came from his Father in heaven and he always took time to spend time communing with his Father. It was hard to find places of quiet and it was often in the middle of the night but he daily sought his Father's presence. How often do we spend time with our Father in heaven? How often do we take time away from the busyness of the day to read God's Words? This is something that I struggle with and I am sure others do as well. I pray that we all can go to the Father on a daily basis.

“Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” Luke 5:16

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.
