    Welcome to the forum Madscrambler.

Like others, I would hate to live where neighbors want to dictate what I do. Thoreau was right about people living thick and in each others way, thereby losing respect for one another. Or something like that.

First vehicle I ever bought many-many-many years ago was a Honda Superhawk. A 1965, 305cc.

One reason i like living out of sight of neighbors although Ms. buZZsaw gets on my case about it.

    Welcome to the club!

We too had neighbor issues, well detailed in a thread here somewhere. They wanted our place to look like a golf course. But they got a wood lot.
At the end of our first year burning (about 4 cord), they conveyed that our collection was a little much, after all we didn't burn a single cord that winter.
We'd moved a few stacks right out of their view....
but that we burned that much wood and didn't produce lotsa smoke, says we burned clean and dry. I took that remark as a compliment.

We've had very minor skirmishes over the last few years, and a (what I thought was a good discussion) a year or so back.
I just found out that they still can't stand us....we still have lotsa piles, all very neat....but have greatly curbed things with them in mind.
I'm going to build a fence in the next few weeks, so they don't have to look at my yard.

I need a few acres in a remoter area.

Again, welcome to the club Madscrambler.

also, Honda Shadow Spirit. just about 200 miles YTD.

I’ll have to get a pic of my neighbors yard. I despise how it looks but I would never try to tell the guy how to live his life. Thankfully I can’t see it from my place.

I have 22 acres and 1/4 mile driveway; I once got a complaint about not mowing front yard.. Town guy came; I was like it’s a field if, complainer wants to pay lawn company to mow it feel free.. next lot is farmers hay field.. town guy laughed.. neighbors now have two horses in it..

we had windstorm 2 30 foot ash spears are on front yard next to road.. neighbors kid has firewood stand.. his Dad called and asked; I said sure; kids 14 learning. On flat ground close to road so he can be guided while still still doing by himself.
