There was a lot of that where I grew up. If the drought gets bad and the swamps dry up too much there are likely to be many surprises.

That's is nice, you'll be able to do lots of work with that. What about your AC/heat?

You got to go bigger to get one with a/c and I thought they were too big for my needs and frankly I couldn’t afford one. I can always trade in and get a bigger one if needed!

In tracked skid steers that I’ve been looking at, the difference between open canopy and enclosed with heat a/c seems to be $10,000-$15,000 on used machines

We have a cab model skid steer at work with heat with no a/c, it’s brutal in the summer even with the door off.

Nice machine. My BIL has an excavating company and swears by Kubota excavators and skid steers. I think he has 3 or 4 of each now.

I’ve been buying Kubota’s lately, they seem to be good quality. They make good engines as well, lots of other brands use them. I have a dealer 10 miles from me which is great.
They are delivering my excavator Thursday morning, my patience is wearing thin!

Remember to pry yourself out of the seat now and then upon delivery for pictures for your enablers

Until you get the "feel" for the capabilities - especially a loaded bucket over the side and at the full reach, use your seat belt Jack.
I rented a little guy for some inside work building my shop burying some conduit, my first time with one that small and found its limitations pretty quickly.
I believe that your machine is much bigger than the one I almost upset, but a day or two wearing the belt isn't a bad idea.

There's a pretty awful example of this floating around on YouTube although I'd call it 100% very poor operator error and judgment.

It's actually a great time of year for pulling stumps. They get stubborn come summer.

There was so much water in the hole I thought it would float out.
