I got a rescue shepherd probably 85 lb female, rescue we got at about 4 yo now 14yo.. She Lady, has warned a few people but hasn’t bitten one yet..
she is my wife’s dog no question. Some people can’t train dogs!!
Will she bite to protect my wife absolutely, even me, shepherd, in general, are convinced they can’t get into dog heaven unless they die protecting their person.. and watch every second that opportunity!

I have 3 indoor cats, all Hemalayans and none of them have typical cat instincts for hunting. I have seen them play with a mouse, but then they give up on it.

I personally think that the dogs (in the article) have just picked up on their owners mean nasty fake personalitys...

Bingo. Regardless of breed, the dogs take after their owner. Sure needs are just more inclined to be able to act upon that.

Lady it's an excellent dog, with an even better family of owners. Our a hole neighbor , has had 2 German shepherds. First one was a nuisance, tried to attack William as a tiny pup. I put the fear of krampus into it and picked up William. That stuff even went after the other neighbors 6-8 yrs old child. That stuff was his mom's. Now a- hole has a new gsd and this one is way nicer, but he can't control it to keep it on his land. I still shoo it off when it starts.

I knew you Danielle and pups had met Lady! If you had pet foxes she would kill them.. absolutely hates foxes. Chickens she corral and put in a fence.. rabbits (Elise had pet rabbit) would catch him when he got out and put him in cage.. no joke unhurt

a fox with mange threatened my daughter, since then when a new litter shows up crazy shepherd kills them.
With our driveway you don’t need a door bell.. you need hearing protection

Did I miss something in the news about an EMP threat? Is this the result of the AT&T problem? The release that the Russians have a nuclear capable whatever for satellites?

All the prepper / homestead groups are going absolutely bonzo over EMP hardening lately.

I missed all the fuss - didn't know about it until after I had logged off of work and I went to my town's FB page. A bunch of people were discussing how they couldn't make calls or send texts. A lot of those people had AT&T and iphones. I didn't have any issue with my work iphone, which is Verizon and I had several meetings yesterday morning. One person said she was having issues with US Cellular, but no one else seemed to.

It may have depended on where in town they were since there are 3 towers in close proximity. I think my signal probably comes from the US Cellular tower up the hill from me in the next town over, but who knows.
