I just found this thread and made it through most of it. I have nothing near as cool as you guys, I am a desk jockey and I hate it. But the pay is (JUST) good enough to allow my wife to stay home and raise our three little girls. I am a PM for a company that builds specialized machining and automation equipment. CAT is my main customer, a lot of work in their medium and large engine plants.
No doubt! In all honesty it wasn't the drivers fault. He backed in where he was told and in bottomed out on the right side.
Well finally drove the wrecked truck today. It's been awhile. Can't really tell, lots of parts been replaced. Still have some gremlins to work out.
Now that I'm done with the other truck I can start piecing this one back together. Power steering pump on the chevy, and rreplacing the air horn valve on the pete.
Post up your tool boxes if you have some. Doesn't matter how big or small, cheap or expensive. I would have never bought this Snap On epic but had a coworker moving across country and got a deal on it. When I out grew iy it I just made me a cabinet.
Here is my harbor freight box. the snap on guy told me I’d never loose money with one of their boxes. You can always trade it for what you paid. “Will you buy it back for what I payed when I’m done?” He laughed. So did I.
