She's half black mouth Cur and half Siberian husky. My wife says the best part of her day is when I get home from work.

I was talking about Timber's day. But I think my wife will say she feels the same way the dogs do.

    I mean, it's Valentine's Day.:D

I stopped by my friends house
They are in their 70s and had a jack russell that passed away a couple of year's ago IMG_20240207_155617.jpg
I asked when i knocked on the door
When did you guy's get cat's?
And they said cat's what cat's
I turns out their granddaughter brought them there to keep them company.

Day 4 post op update of our sweet boy Tucker….

    Where should I start…. Hmmmmmm.

Yesterday there was no sign of myelomalacia, with a very small reaction to deep pain stimulation. HOORAY !!!!!!

Today…Day 4 no sign of myelomalacia still… good news.

Positive reaction to deep pain stimulation !!!
Sometime during the rest of the neurological exam, doctor said he tried to take a step!!!!

WE GET TO BRING HIM HOME TOMORROW ..

Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. If I missed giving your post a thumbs up, I’m sorry… I tried to get them all, but was out of town overnight for work.

We still have a long ways to go… but are excited and nervous at the same time.

Ps…. He won Pet of the week at the clinic also… ( his pic from the clinic….) CF8B8CA8-9491-4058-BED1-4AE3158B3683.jpeg

So glad that Tucker is showing positive signs and will be able to come home. With such a cuteness overload, I can see how he won Pet of the Week!

Got a bad vibe at the backyard “kennel” we checked out earlier in the week. Found a more professional boarding place. It’s more expensive but I feel better about how he will be taken care of. Today is a trial day, Hope ding dong passes the test! Last option is my folks. They have a nice house… that isn’t Lab proof…

I hear you. That's why I fenced in the backyard and we'd rather just hire dependable people to come over and care for our dogs. They know the routine and there's less chance of stuff happening. Big dogs just do what they do, and you have the house already set up.

Our good neighbor is bringing his chocolate lab to our house when he goes on a cruise.. Dog knows us loves us and he said she would be happy here..

when he takes her on daily walks she will come visit without him.. our driveway ensures not near road and she Gracie, sleeps for hours after a visit

He is trained to a wireless fence. Has about 4 acres to himself and the wild critters. He dosnt have fee range in the house when we are not home so having someone stop by would mean he would have to spend way more time confined than we would like.
