I remember. If my memory serves me, your mom got covid in a nursing home. Similar situation here. Mom went to a rehab facility after a procedure, got covid there and then got pneumonia.
Actually, they falsified it as covid even though she always tested negative. They were testing the residents weekly. It was actually sepsis from a bladder infection they didn't treat her for in time that took her. They quickly removed covid from the death certificate when my sister told them our attorney will be in contact with you. They were getting tax payer money for COVID deaths if you recall. The thing that really grinds me is we couldn't see her in person because our governor had locked everything down but when she passed we all were allowed to go in. She died without a family member by her side and had no visitors months before besides us standing outside her window trying to talk to her that way.
I remembered you couldn't visit her. I was with her all day yesterday, not responsive at all. I left in the evening when my sister got there. She passed around 9pm.
It's definitely not easy. She would have been 93 tomorrow and we were making plans to have a birthday party and now we will be making funeral arrangements tomorrow on her birthday. I'm having a tough time with it.
