Gave both of the vehicles a good washing yesterday after we got home form a dinner date. The dogs were invited along also and had a great time.
But, you didn't have to ask them twice when it was time to go!

Probably hamburgers on the grill tomorrow.

Yeah, as much as I like can eat rice and beans I'm not doing that very often.
I think the national average now starts at $50 a week per person, not too long ago it was $25. $50 being the low end of the average.
Actually the break-even on the card is lower but getting too close to the break-even point on a card might not be too wise.

Well, tested positive for COVID last Tuesday. Knew what it had to be as I’ve never had any illness hit me with so many symptoms at one time. This is second bout with this s*** , first time in 2020 or 21 I think. Called Doc and asked if there was some new “magic potion” yet and he sent me a prescription for Paxlovid (ironically made by Phizer). The stuff is three pills taken twice a day for 5 days. They make your mouth taste extremely bitter and you can’t get rid of the taste. Does it help? Maybe as symptoms are a bit less. Oh, yeah double vaxxed and still got the Wuhan Flu twice. I don’t believe those folks anymore  . Y’all know who I mean:thumbs:

Be careful. I had it in November 22. Had issues with cold feet etc for a long time afterward.

october 23, I had a pulmonary embolism. Hematologist feels it was a clot from when I had Covid.

    Thanks Y’all. :)
Funny thing is we don’t even go out much. Church on Sundays and once in a while to a restaurant, grocery store, maybe Costco and are careful so there’s just no way to outrun the crap!

I had a really bad impulse purchase attack today.  It’s not great quality but for an $85 plasma cutter it isn’t bad!

I haven't had any early bird sightings, but I haven't been out much.
What I do know is that it is still too cold for me.

Feel better soon. I had it right after Christmas. Whole family did. Didn’t get tested this time. Didn’t do Paxlovid this time. Symptoms seem like they were milder in this round. Still crappy. Had it a long while back and the symptoms were nasty. Took Paxlovid. Feel like it helped by stopping it quickly from getting worse.

Neat deal! Ordered a Christmas gift, it was $300, it never showed up. Tracked it and there's a picture of it on my doorstep. Called the company to make sure it wasn't returned (that happened to me once, UPS and bookshelf lol), nope, was not returned but she said her company puts "Extend" shipping insurance on it, covers lost, damaged, and stolen. They sent me a prepaid MasterCard for $300!!

you are in about the last place I would have thought that porch thieves would be active. I haven't had that happen here (yet) but it has happened in our area. I have a ring doorbell. Anytime there is an incident, they send out a neighborhood alert which comes in on our cell phones showing a video of the event. plus, no one comes in the yard but want the dogs alert us before we can even hear the car out front. We are last on a dead end and the dogs bark at anything that is out there.
