After 3+ yrs of working with a friend who is an excellent marksman and reloader, I finally bit the bullet and got my setup. Currently have dies and consumables for .223, 6 GT, 6.5 CM and 280 AI since these are the rifles I own. Should be a fun new hobby, even though I don't have enough time for it.

Forester Coax press. None better for precision accuracy. Same unit I use.

Looks like great equipment. What powder scale or measure did you get?

My buddy is going to indefinitely loan me his RCBS Chargemaster trickler.

I love it! I haven't done much in 5-6 years though but I like saving the money being cheap. I do get a kick out of loading my own hunting ammo that's more accurate and about 25 cents on the dollar to the same quality retail production ammo.

Be careful, ….. it’s another huge rabbit hole to go down. Almost as bad as CAD.
I got all the equipment and loads of components. But haven’t taken the time to do any loading for several years.
I used to believe that I did more shooting and burnt more powder than anyone else in my county,….., but now I’m positive that I have more firewood than anyone in the county

I'd like to get one of those but just don't reload the volume I used to. Nowadays if I have more than a few loads I drop slightly under weight charges from my powder dispenser into the pan of my beam powder scale and manually trickle from there. Faster than doing it all by hand but nowhere as convenient as the all in one electronic scales. Nice you have a vibratory tumbler also. You are well on your way to turning out professional loads.....and opening opportunities to spend lots more money!

Super nice gear! You'll become addicted to reloading pretty quickly.

    I load 9mm & 40S&W for my handguns and 5.56 for the AR15's on 3 Dillon 550 progressive presses.

Finally got together with my buddy today so he could begin teaching me how to reload. We got these cartridges reloaded today. Ladder of powder charges for my 280 AI with 160g Accubonds. Maybe, I'll get to the range to test them tomorrow?

I think I found my optimal load for this gun (280 Ackley Improved) and bullet (160 gr Accubond). Might not be the fastest load I could run, but I like the consistency.

I think I've got my loads developed for my .223 bolt gun. VMAX 40 gr. bullets for varmints and Speer Match 52 gr. for targets. 20240303_162501.jpg 20240303_162539.jpg
