Looks like a bunch of standing water around too.

I've hoarded many times during a light snowstorm, but not when it's above freezing and the ground is soggy. I'll wait until it's either dry or cold enough for solid ground at least.

We have standing water too. It’s a soggy mess. Lack of sunshine is becoming depressive.

Lack of sun is one thing, but grey skies and mud/water everywhere for weeks on end is enough to make you crazy! Or in my case maybe its just more crazy! :faint:

I haven’t been working in the yard either. No need to tear and rut stuff up.

Ground hog day coming up so normal temperatures will start their slow climb towards spring.

True, but it almost always turns out wet as we head towards spring.

With all the cloud cover we've been having, there's no way Phil will see any shadows. :binoculars:

Just wish we would get more than a week of hard freeze. Around here I think last time that happened was 2016

Same here. The local ponds and lakes haven't frozen for several years. No ice fishing derbies nor ice-out raffles.

Ice fishing here stopped a few years ago when a local mayor said ice fishing will increase prostitution

We had about 2 days of frozen ground..... Most of the rest of the time it has been somewhere between damp and sloppy. A couple somewhat dry days thrown in.... I'm always amazed to hear yall talk about frozen ground as a normal thing.
