Since the wind died down finally I figured it a good time to get some wood processed. It sure splits easy in 15* weather. Mingo marker has custom 22" wheel.
Pile of rejects. Punky wood and crotches that aren't worth messing with. It's too time consuming and u end up with a pile of toothpics that aren't worth burning.
I put a second ramp on my 14” wheel to mark every 7” and cut at 21”. I imagine your paint would freeze pretty quick in those temps, no?
Thats a really good idea!! Also Ya I would think so. So I pull it outta the shop spray the logs and put it back inside with the saw. So it's only out for 20-30 min.
Cut and split some more silver maple and Hackberry today. Had some trouble uploading pics yesterday. So first couple are from yesterday.
Had some dirt on this piece. Had to cut from top 2 bottom on the dirt side to prevent dulling the chain.
How do you like that Milwaukee? One of these seasons I’m going to pull the trigger on an electric saw.
It's great for smaller stuff. No yanking the rope over and over. I like how the scwrench mounts in the saw. Only issue is it's black. So I painted it yellow.
Running low on hedge so I pulled a log off the hedge pile. About 15' long and 18" should be enough to fill an ibc tote right?
Ive been wanting a Dewalt one (have a bunch of their tools and batteries) but cant find a good enough deal on one.
When it comes to battery powered stuff I’m a huge believer in brand loyalty there. Being able to share batteries and use your existing charger is nice.
Me too. Just picked up a battery blower earlier this month. Guy i work for part time is big on Milwaukee.
There is also adapters to fit any battery to any tool. For DeWalt 18V 20V Li-Ion Battery Convert To For Milwaukee Battery Tool DW18ML | eBay
HUH! I did not know that. I have the 18 to 20 volt one for my Dewalt. I still have a few 18 volt tools i dont use a lot and am too cheap to replace them. Problem is the higher amperage batteries wont fit!
Maybe this one would work? DCA1820 20V MAX To 18V USB Adapter Converter For Dewalt 20Volt Li-ion Battery US | eBay
Thats the same one i have. The 5 & 6 amp ones dont fit. Only my 1.3 & 2 amp ones. Luckily i rarely use the right angle grinder and jugsaw.
