Cooler temps, fall around the corner, went nuts in the barn a few nights. Everything sharp, stocked up, and ready for Fall. Then I de-rusted the old saws, and gave em a good coat of oil, put them up so my kids can figure out what to do with them in 30 years. Every time I load up my gear, I can remember the guys that came before me and the gear they had to use!
Getting old too. I took a picture of all three inside walls with everything where it is supposed to go so I can refer to them to find out who knows what I have left in the woods, or loaned out that didn't come back.
You just need to swing by and so that to my garage. Most of my stuff is "put away" on any flat surface that happened to be handy at the moment.
More inspiration from the FHC forum! Wow... nice job Greg. Looks really good. I have to do the same thing here. Perfect motivation... seeing that, it actually can be done... BTW, I have old saws here too that remind me of how it was done years ago. Even have old pics somewhere of my Dad cutting firewood with one of them.
Looks awesome Greg! Wish my shop looked that clean...just need to get rid of the 76 Volvo, old washer and dryer, old shelves, concrete sink, broken truck rack...
Wow! Glad my wife isnt a forum member. She would say "why doesnt our shed look like that". Very nice and way to be prepared for the crazy weather.
Little update. your post and my wife's comment about me cleaning out the shed spurred me into action. Feels good opening the door and not have to step over things and find room for things. Thanks Greg!
Snow shoes work perty good for getting over shop debris without breaking your neck............. don't ask.......
Looks great! I keep telling my wife I need more space so I can organize nicely but yet I still don't have a pole barn
