Burned all last year, Got a coffee can full of brown fluffy stuff out of the pipe.
Had some glazed chunky stuff on the cap.
    Seems pretty good to me

I just swept my chimney last Sunday (first year burning with not great wood) and got about a big can and a half on top of the crud that was left in the trap from previous owners. All things considered, I was happy with it.
I cannot imagine how people let their chimneys go so long to the point that they are like clogged arteries. It boggles the mind!

I gotta believe that those cases are where 90 percent of chimney fires come from.
I cant believe that if I clean mine regularly that it will ignite causing the house to burn down.
