    7f Enjoying a fire prior to a few hours out on the lake early this morning. White Ash and some pretty blue flames dancing the in the Regency keeping the furnace at bay.

    20/70 high today of 25. Tuesday the slop starts. Had a big locust round in last night that Is still hanging on. Going to throw in some of this or that splits and get ready for church. The Folgers tastes good this morning.

    23 with a feel of 10. Stove full of BL to bring it up to temps. Our warm up begins Tuesday. Calling for rain for several days. Going to be a mess.

    A very decent (all things considered) -17C/1F here this morning and things are only looking up in the following days. Pine with a few random pieces of poplar .

    20/70, shagbark hickory with some sugar maple. We've had about 12" of snow this weekend and it's still coming down. I was out shoveling earlier and the smell of that hickory and sugar maple burning was quite pleasant.

    it was 1 degree this AM. I reloaded the Quadrafire with a split of ash and a split of elm. they were pretty big splits, and there was a lot of coals. 70 in the back hall. Should be warmerin the stove room, but I'm not in there, so I'll just make an educated guess. LOL

    We had the warmest december on record, then it dumped around 1.5' of snow it went cold where we didn't even get above zero for days . this coming week it will be near 40 degrees and rain most of the week.. roller coaster stuff
