I only know part of this….. My Brother was one of the last to do the printing of shirts, hats, hoodies, cups, etc. He was working with Grizz. Orders were printed as received. There was no major stock of items, as is done most times. He shipped directly to the purchaser. My brother sold the business, about 5 or 6 years ago…. About the same time the swag shop closed.
I will say this.. all the stuff I’ve seen and bought was very good quality, so thumbs up to your brother. IF the swag shop comes back, I hope it’s not those heat press/print on demand pieces. They’re not so great.
There is also a HUGE difference in the types of silkscreen “paints” …. Some of them just sit on the surface of the material, makes for a stiff, and thick print.
Anybody have a good pic of their decal? I did a quick search and the pics I came up with are side shots or not the best.
ROTFLMAO! Exactly the same for me, but it's only the 1 back BR. I swear if these original wood flooring was jast sanded, it would look great. That's why I haven't moved everything out of the back BR and put the LVP in there. I think it's sugar maple. There's a dark stain about a foot around on out from previous owners. To my credit I finally took my wife's treadmill out of that back BR when I got a gun cabinet. That treadmill wasn't used in years and she would rather just walk outside and her "low limit" for walking outside has gotten down to about 18°. I had to use a sawzall to cut that treadmill into more manageable sized pieces. I know it got into the room on 1 piece but I didn't have the patience to deal with removing it in 1 piece.
Exactly. This LVP is nice, but it can be used in the front hallway instead. It's already in the back hallway and the front half bathroom. The wood won't be removed either way. At worst the LVP would go right in on top, with no harm/ foul to the wood underneath.
I can provide jpeg silhouettes and line drawings of the decal as well as a DXF that should work in a vinyl cutter.
Eh, I still don't have linoleum laid in my bathroom since the entire thing was redone (except the commode) in September of 2015. It took a year to get the new sink in (September 2016), but that was because I was waiting for my folks to arrive for a visit to help me move it from the basement (wasn't paying someone to do that). Of course my problem is that first, I had more important things to spend my money on (not taking the commode out myself since I'm sure I'd mess it up and it is the only bathroom in the house). I actually tried to hire someone to pop the commode and lay the linoleum this past fall. Thought he was going to do it, but haven't heard from him since. When the weather is warmer, I'll try to find someone else.
