Last fall I bought a cheap Amazon chainsaw, a "Supmix" 60cc machine. I am out $106 after a gift card that's been laying in the drawer for too long. So far not a bad deal for a 60cc 20" bar machine. It's a good mosquito repellent with a 25:1 mix ratio and it cuts stronger than my Husqvarna 450e.

Flash-forward, and Amazon is constantly trying to foist chainsaws on me . I am strongly tempted to buy this $50 saw! The Assurion "warranty " is $5.

So for $#¡+s & giggles, how bad can it be? At an alleged 3.2kw aka 4 +hp; it should be entertaining. Yes, it gets in the way of my 3 Saw Plan; ultimately a CS620P, a CS501P, and most likely a CS-355T or possibly a CS2511T. But it is a quick fix... It could be pretty bad or ok but at least it’s not a 4 stroke chainsaw.

IMO quality is more important that quantity.

I've had a couple different saws that I wish I didn't buy. That's a weird thing to admit, but an even worse feeling to have. I'd rather spend $50 on a couple jugs of bar oil and fuel for the saws I already have and enjoy.

Guess you wont know until you try. Im tempted by killer deals like that, but as stated id rather buy saw related accessories, bar oil etc.

Some guys have okay luck with them, and others not so much. No way would they ever have the longetivity of an OEM saw, but I think they're great for tinkering or playing. They don't have the same price tag either, so what the hay, might as well have some fun. I own a chinese saw, and it cuts pretty good for what it is, but it's no Husky lol

Buy it, have fun, and tell us all about it.

When you do go for the three saw plan, I would go with the 355T if you’re on the ground more, and the 2511T if you’re planning on using it in the tree. Or if money is no option, get the 2522T and send it to Kevin for some extra sausages! Till then, it seems you’re finding entertainment from the Amazon saws:rofl:  That’s pretty bad that it out it’s your husqvarna!
I can’t help but wonder after reading your post, “where is the middle of the road any more” How can you buy an entire chainsaw for less than a part for another saw. That’s cheaper than some loops of chain cost, for heavens sake!

I started to pull the trigger on that saw, but the Shipping is $40. For $50 and free shipping, I'd have another saw on the way. I'll put the money towards another Echo.
I like the idea of a 3 Saw Plan. Next is the Echo CS-355T, then the CS501P to replace the Husqvarna 450e. The 450e, the Echo CS4600, and the Poulan, being backup saws don't count. The McCulloch will probably go to my sister so that doesn't count. The Supmix lives out of state so I don't need to count that, do I?
