You know the last time I was under 200? I was 13 years old.

Weighed myself after volleyball tonight - 195 plus the phone! image.jpg

If all that you are wearing while on the scale is a phone, thanks for taking the picture in that direction! LOL

Right where I want to be.
That's just about my weight goal.
    Still at just under 220.
Don't put it back on this winter.

There are other benefits to splitting by hand, just make sure the wife is around to see you in action. ;)

Yeah I gotta keep up the physical activity - that's what really got it melting away. Anybody know if Fiskars makes a snow shovel? ;)

Haha yeah she makes me take my shirt off when I'm out there splitting. :axe::D

I split wood next to a neighbor lady who watches me "very carefully" so my wife makes me keep mine one. Lady must be very lonely!

Yup its pretty simple really. Just an energy balance. Gotta use more than you take in. Fad diets may work for a little while but long term maintenance comes down to energy balance.

Haha. Haven't noticed any neighbor ladies checking me out, but just recently I've been hearing my neighbor across the street doing some hand splitting himself on a couple occasions...

It is a nice added benefit. Sure that volleyball is helping as well. I need to do some processing this fall would compliment my workout regiment well.

I was at 218 earlier this spring, I'm down to 209 right now and plan on being at my fighting weight of 205 by winter and trying to hold that. Hard to do around Thanksgiving and Christmas though!! Big thing I did was cut out the wheat and a large portion of carbs from my diet.....what a difference that makes. I bust my azz with the tree removal and wood processing so I gets lots of exercise from that but I'm going to start pumping iron again during the winter in my soon-to-be home gym in the garage. I love lifting weights, have since I was in my late teens....

Congrats Shawn, keep up the good work!

Very true! I just bought a splitter last month after a few years of splitting by hand. My wife scolded me....not because of the money I spent, but because she won't be able to watch me split wood out the window while she cooks. I think I'll have to give the ole' Fiskars some use every now and then when I want the..."mood to strike"!

Ugh - can't eat that garbage anymore - doesn't agree with me. He probably lost that weight because he couldn't keep any of it down. Either that, or it was coming out the other end just as fast as he could eat it. I think they put laxatives in it.
