Finished the 1x6 order yesterday, then the kids ground and packaged the pork they did last week.

Morning all. Day dawned really nice this morning. If the slight overcast disappears, we could have sunshine for the day. Temps are just above freezing. "They" are forecasting winter conditions starting next weekend. campinspecter is going to make sure the battery for the snowblower is charged - just in case.

Bookkeeping, chores and football today. I have another pair of socks to mend or rebuild. One pair down and two to go. I tell my family that if I knit you socks and you get a hole in them, return them and I will rebuild them. So far it is only my son-in-law that returns them.

Sawdust Man that was quite a lot of boards for that order. I see you got a dusting of snow.
T.Jeff Veal You are fortunate to have enough room to park the camper and still be able to use it. Our trailer fits into a tight spot right up against the house.
theburtman it is interesting to me to see how differently each area did or didn't get snow.
MikeInMa that Christmas tree looked so nice with the snow outside the window. Was the green/brown Christmas unusual for your area?

Same here. Mind you, snow here at all during the winter is seldom seen. We are so close to salt water.

Morning all. Wet and windy this morning. We are predicted to have a storm today and tomorrow. Possible snow at higher levels or away from the water. We will see what the day brings.
Slept through the SeaHawks game but the evening game was rather exciting. I found I had another pair of socks to mend so four pairs altogether. Tonight I have a church board meeting so I have to work on that today. I think we are putting firewood in the basement today and then grocery shopping.

Overcast day ahead. Upper teens/Mid-30's

Another storm hits later this afternoon. 2-3 inches of rain with gusty winds, overnight. Temps rising to the 50's, melting the snow we got Sunday. Flood alerts and power outages are possible. I'm guessing it'll be a night of little sleep.

Yesterday, I raked snow from the edge of the roof to allow the rain to drain away and not be held in a snow-sponge.

I hope to bring some wood to the deck. Then, some grocery shopping.
