You'll probably laugh at me, but I just got a new smartphone to replace my 4 years old $60 one.
It's got blueteeth  and I'm digging Spotify! F a radio and their chit music anymore!
Went out and got me a new Makita radio with Bluetooth and my "work tunes" head set already had it so music is definitely in the air!
They even knew who Commander Cody and his lost planet airmen is. 20240104_154105.jpg

Cool! Husband gave kiddo a generic wireless speaker for Birthday last summer, and I got Spotify for them. They love it and use it a lot!

Another 'smart' phone minimalist I see. I have a $200 limit for them. I have a local 'classic radio' station that plays...sigh...'classic' hits from my youth now that I'm old. I know of Commander Cody via a now retired coworker. I think he played at a Caver Event every year that the coworker attended.

Hot rod Lincoln I think was as close to any big radio play as they got. I used to have all of their vinyl and they all got lots of party play back in the turntable days once the other kids heard them and the music got to their feet! Snap, crackel and pop is about all that's left of those and most of my "collection ".

fuelrod record cleaning machines have come a long way. Those old records can be vastly improved. Buy in is ridiculous but if you have a record shop that has one and offers the service, it’s very affordable.
