Tourist are quite a plague. Our immigrants have been feeding the mule deer for over ten years now. Now the muleys are diseased and killing yap yap dogs, so the local immigrant town council is spending a fortune to trap them with hog pens and have someone go kill them with a bolt gun. They just aren't right in the head.

This sounds perfectly logical for a group of folks of a certain line of thinking…

What an ahole. He comes across a majestic animal like that and he whips out the "tough guy" humor. I hope his spare was flat and his wife nagged him the entire time.

I don't know about majestic, but delicious yes. Nice young bull. That guy certainly deserved nagging, and I'm sure he is the type to allow that kind of thing.

I blame safety devices and warning labels. Some folks weren't supposed to make it.

If one hits you on the side, they can go through your truck door (modern truck). Had a friend slow down one night to let a herd passed but they all didn't pass yet. He took off again and a bull got him broadside. I don't know why his head was down but it was. One point went right through the back door. Broke the bull's neck, but didn't break the tine.

Had a coworker shoot a deer and assumed it was dead. Well it wasn't and it poked a hole in his gut requiring surgery, a hospital stay and a liquid diet,

No he didn't. Most of us kill our own. You CAN apply for a permit to pick up road kill. The trick is getting them gutted fast, but permitting takes too long. Usually the ravens, magpies, and flying rats (bald eagles) get them fast. It is a shame.
