Good morning, members.

An ok day ahead. 20⁰/33⁰ bright crescent moon out now. Sunny day.

Winter here as well, theburtman. Cold Temps have arrived. Up to a foot of snow Sunday. More than all last winter added together.

My storm prep for today will be to go to the grocery store. I plan to be there around 7am opening. The cold, dark, and early hours should delay other milk sandwich consumers.

Local news is almost 100% snow related. It is what it is.

Miz Carol has some sinus crud going on, not feeling to well. She has to finish cleaning the church before Sunday.

Yesterday, after sawing 1x6s for half of the day we bucked up a pile of smaller dirty logs, & then made cants to be resawed today.

Good morning everyone! It looks like we are in for a somewhat normal snowstorm. I'm ready.

 

Good morning. We are only supposed to get clipped by some snow here, but 4-8” is expected a bit north of here.

A decent day to finish storm prep. 27⁰/ 36⁰ Overcast

The snow should start when the puck drops in tonight's Bruins game. ~7pm. 6-10 inches of snow is forecasted. The heaviest overnight. It should wrap up Sunday mid-afternoon. I'll be snowblowing in the dark and again Monday morning. I hope it stays cold enough to avoid the snow being heavy and wet.

After all the prep is done, maybe Mrs MikeInMa and I will head out and grab a bite somewhere local.

Good afternoon, ya'll. Hope ya'll are having a SUPER SATURDAY. Good rain overnight/early morning, cool and cloudy. Not much happening, Miz Carol still isn't feeling great. We did get the camper moved home last night and set up.
Finishing cleaning the church today, and then taking our son and grandson out for dinner.

Evening all. Rain and sunshine today. A little bit of everything. This morning as we were getting ready for church, I realized that I had forgotten that I was the backup pianist of last resort so I had some last minute going over the hymns that were going to be sung. As a result, I didn't get to say Morning all. I hope everyone's day went well and those who were sick are doing so much better.

When Jesus was 12 years old, it was time to take him up to Jerusalem to be presented at the temple. A seeker of truth, Jesus found the elders and teachers. Mary and Joseph left on the trip home and after three days, discovered Jesus missing. They returned to the temple to find him asking questions and listening to the teachers. How easily is it for us to lose our focus on Jesus and the answers he has for us by being distracted by the cares and worries of each day? As an adult, Jesus spent time each day seeking his father's guidance. I hope that in 2024, study of God's Word each day will be come part of your life.
