Don’t forget golf66, like they said earlier. You don’t have to spend crazy money. You can also find used ones that were well cared for that folks just don’t use much. Find what you want in new. And then look for a nice used one. Mine was less than half of what a new one cost.
I totally agree with this.. everything is so pricy these days it’s hard to justify any new purchase's. I use my gator bought used 11 years ago for a lot of different stuff. I have no desires to buy a new side by side or new pick up truck ect…
Ok, you guys have convinced me to get a UTV and I am preparing for a cashectomy. A used one is definitely in order as prices on new ones are batsquat crazy. Craigslist has a lot of them for sale, however, caution is warranted as a lot of them are scams out there.
Not sure where you are in Ontario. 2016 Honda Pioneer 700-4 EFI 4x4 - atvs, utvs, snowmobiles - by owner - vehicle automotive sale - craigslist
I have seriously considered these. My only concern is the ride quality when seated over the front axle. Ride quality is very important for my special needs.
I have used a Diahatsu and remember the cab being too cramped and the foot controls difficult to use with boots on.
I had to go to the local atv/ utv dealer for a part for my quad. As I was waiting for the parts counter guy, I walked around and was looking the prices for some of the UTVs (primarily polaris dealer with a few yamahas) I said out loud, "you have to be kidding me!" I about . I asked the guy how the sales curently are, he said quite well. IDK if he was full of B.S. or what. Though the quad prices weren't much more from when I bougyt mine in 2018.
UTV prices are redonkerous, new & used. New sales are still strong based on inventory rolling thru the local dealers.
I got so very very lucky to have purchased my Mule just before the whole world lost it's mind. In 4 years time, the *exact same model that I bought for $8999 on sale is now $13k minimum. 4 thousand + increase in as many years. I would not likely be in a position today to purchase one at current asking prices & rates. If you are patient I'd be willing to bet that a LOT of used machines will be on the market in the coming year. For many they are a luxury toy rather than a tool and one of the first things that will be cast off.
Hey golf66 …….. This one came up for sale after I bought mine. Almost new, just an older model. Look at this post on Facebook Log into Facebook
X2....some of these things have asking prices that are nucking futs. Even used ones are going for $20K. Flap that. There are used machines that come up for sale that have prices that a working person can afford, however, some of them are so old that getting replacement part will be a challenge.
