I wish FSU players had the same commitment that the Dawgs had, would have been a closer game. But yes, it was fun to watch, 2nd string started the 2nd half, 4th quarter, they played quarterbacks we hadn't even heard of yet. It was nice to see the new recruits there as well.

Strange sight outside this morning. Not sure what happened but everything seems to be white. We've only seen this a couple times.

Planning to rest today, and maybe a little celebration of our daughter's birthday.....we got her a sewing machine....is that kinda like an iron, or vacuum cleaner?

Not much accomplished yesterday, talked on the phone with my eldest brother for a couple hours, sawed one log, then took my wife to Walmart etc.....

    Y'all have a blessed day!

Last night on the way home.....

Morning all. The day dawned with clear skies and the occasional patch of fog or low hanging cloud. Yesterday was partial sunny with a few rain showers. I think we get this weather for a couple of days and then back to rain.
Chores for the day and then meeting at the church for potluck meal and communion service. Nice way to say goodbye to the old year and prepare for the new year.

T.Jeff Veal Nice when your team wins but it wasn't much of a battle.
Sawdust Man your sunrise pictures are awesome. I didn't get one of our sunrise this morning
MikeInMa even though we look like we are going to have a dry day, the ground is so saturated it is hard to do anything outside.
Backwoods Savage it sounds as though you have snow. The first of the season?

    Everyone have a great day.

We're on a bit of a hill, which affords decent drainage. Makes it a challenge to level racks in the woodyard.

I hope your area will get a chance to dry out.

I can't even begin to imagine the pain. My wife is my rock and my best friend. Positive thoughts and prayers to you on this sad day. I hope you can find something to do to occupy your thoughts.
