    How far away from your washing machine is it? Our first generation front loader ~ 2004 vibrated our that part of the house. Brand new construction, it was leveled.

    Living on a Main street with lots of heavy vehicles rumbling by can shake a house quite a bit.

    When they are snow plowing the parking lots at the college a little over a mile down the street I can hear the rumbling in the basement. Not upstairs, just in the basement.

    Might need more serious vibration isolators. I’ve recently gotten into this kinda stuff as our pellet stove can get noisy on both vibration related noise and actual acoustics from it.

    google for vibration isolation solutions.

    This is my first ranch house on the ground. Dirt road to dirt driveway, the house shakes when the trash truck lifts and shakes the dumpster upside down a couple times. Weird sensation! Previous home we hand intense lightning/thunderstorms for the first 5 years, that shook the windows and the house.

    Had the same thing in a house we lived in. Every time the train went past (about a block away) it would shake! :D
