Thanks, ordering some now via Target, though I keep getting timed out on checkout. Lol, he said M. Umm getting a pk of M and one of L.
When I was married, I folded the ex's shorts and matched his tube socks so that any stretched out were together and the newer ones were paired. I only matched my own socks. Since I've been single, I don't even match the socks, I just stack them in the drawer. I used to get packages where heels/toes were different colors like pink, purple, blue. But now I get packs of socks that are all matching with just gray heel/toe. All my socks are white (everyday use) or black (for work), so they aren't hard to keep separate. Even if the toes and heels of the white ones were mismatched for color, no one would know (except me, and it would bug me).
One word... Duluth ... I tried them and have never looked back... They regularly run sales or discounts on them...
I think you've shown pretty much reserve in posting on this thread without referring to thongs.....just saying.
My old super practical lifelong dairy farming father in law used to say that was the best way to do it Dennis. He claimed wearing your clothes didn't wear them out that confounded washing machine did! Dry clean only was his motto. If something got super dirty you just hung it up in the milkhouse till whatever dirt or grime was on it dried then you brushed it off and wore the article of clothing again. I guess as a little boy he had to carry lots of water from the spring to the house. He wasn't one for wasting a drop of water even after they drilled a well & got the licorice pump. He called electricity licorice because of those funny looking black licorice ropes they attached to the house. Over the years I witnessed some mighty interesting (discussions) between him & my mother in law & him & the milk inspector! Remember boys & girls: 'Dry clean only!' I sure do miss that man.
Perhaps he and my father were related? Both on dairy farms. Both thought washing wore out the clothes, etc.
Socks are stacked.. top 2 go on feet Dress and wool socks paired and folded in half so they fit in drawer! I don’t iron!! Even when I wore suits every day; a good immigrant dry cleaner is cheaper and easier! I like supporting people who are busting their tails trying to make a better life for themselves
Funny thread. My socks, at the top, get turned down/inside out to connect the pair and then get thrown in a big drawer. Skivvies get folded.
