    I was there getting limbs and that guy was there. I don’t know him, but I think he does rollback services for police wrecks or something

    Looks like a bunch of burl-type growths. I’m guessing it was taken for that reason?

    It was going. some of the limbs I got were gamey. Was dark by the time I got home but I’ll post a picture when I process

    Nah, that chunk probably weighed 8k, I’d be noodling that thing all day. I think that guy either had a mill or was taking it to one. Hopefully they can make something out of it

    Guy that took it down had a 395 with a 48 inch bar and from what I could see at the far bottom he needed 7ft of bar. But a true diameter, maybe 3 feet up trunk I would guess it was 6 ft

    Did you get any of the wood from the rest. With a trunk that size it mustve been quite a tree.

    I have and I hated every second of it. Nothing but a giant time suck and the splits look like crap.
