That’s a good looking setup on board ends. I’m curious as to the weight of the camper and how it pulls. The camper we bought in August is 30’ and I don’t like how it pulls, I’m thinking a dually is in my future. If I was only going to a lake 45-60 miles away I could probably tolerate it. But most of our trips are much longer
I have to scope out a location for a wood burner...probably get one of those firepits... It will haul wood as long as it's on a trailer, not going in the woods with it.
Congratulations on the truck and camper! The camper looks nice inside. I wish you long and fun travels!
Probably be about the same. In '21, when we went to Denny's, by the time we finished our explorations up to the border and back home, we had spent over @700 in gas, plus pay for.
If and when you go.......besides the obvious stops (Devils tower, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone) be sure to check these out! Oregon Trail Ruts | WyoHistory.org
I know of one coming up in the spring where you could try it out! Congratulations. May this serve you well.
I've heard the Godzilla is a monster and will be right at home pulling that RV. Now get out there and enjoy it.
On behalf of your (very) overworked f150, beautiful, strong new truck! (and camper of course) Just remember me, I'll be happy to get groceries and let big brother move the heavy things. Great rig Jeff
Thanks, I never thought we would get a truck like this. Ol' Faithful will still be my work truck mostly, delivering small loads of wood or the mower to cut grass.
The camper's base weight is 7562#. He had pulled it with his F150 a few times, he said the semi's would push it around. He said the F250 was much better, he only drove about 60MPH on the interstate...
