Was there a memo I somehow missed that at some point in our lives, we're supposed to pick a haircut and stick with it until either old age or baldness overtakes us? Am I the only one changing things up on occasion for the sake of change? Have you ever walked into work after getting a haircut and you just know the resident simpleton is going to bellow out "WHO'S THE NEW GUY?!?!" and sure as sh__ they do as if you didn't see that coming days ago, from the moment you looked in the mirror and decided it was time for a haircut? Venting aside though, seriously, is it that taboo to try a new hairstyle as an adult? Are new hairstyles meant for kids and teenagers, but by 24 you better have decided what you're going to look like lest you end up living in squalor in a pup tent behind the Salvation Army? Is there some abstract residual self image projection into the fabric of the universe that will be disrupted if you decide to use a #2 guard on the clippers rather than a #4? Do sudden changes in physical appearance sow chaos and confusion within the social hierarchy? What says the rational minds of the forum?
I got a fohawk two cuts ago. I give zero effs what others think. Lol. I did receive compliments though. Back to my high n tight / flat top hybrid for now. I'll get another hawk come warm weather.
Ooh, I know now what I'm going to try next Never had a mohawk myself, but gave my older son one when he was much younger. I've done the almost-shaved head thing with the #1 1/2 guard on the clippers, and up until today I let my hair get LONG, and had it in a ponytail. It was fun for a while but about ran its course I felt. I'm back to the high and tight for now.
I just don't care anymore. Pull it up with a barrette. Grab the back when it gets too long, chop it off and even it out (or husband evens it out) and done. I fixed my doo every single day for decades, not anymore. I've fixed it maybe 50 times in the last 15 years.
Did you keep Aquanet in business too? My 5’2” wife was almost 6’ with the hair when we first met. Scared the chit out of me when she got caught in a rainstorm and shrunk a foot!
That dew looks like there is too much maintenance involved, like some type of gel, spray or comb/brush involved.
There is. That's why I rarely change from my normal, which drying it off with a towel also "combs" it. Lol
