Then I heard about the 2511. The power to weight ratio can’t be beat and it wakes up more with every tank through it.
You should name that saw Joe Pesci cause it has a serious little man complex! Tempting but only mod so far is adding dogs.
Just a muffler mod and defeating the carb limiters really wakes them up but, as another owner of an XS ported 2511, I agree with Jeff.
For those with certain Echo saws that have sub par air filters..... Echo CS-400/490/4910/501P cage and foam rings
Thanks. There was a guy making kits on ebay. I haven't seen any lately. Thanks for the link, brother...
I have one of his filters that fits the new MS362's. We have 1st generation saw, doesn't fit, if anybody needs it.
Got the 251 out to change the clutch drum to a rim sprocket. Not a huge fan of the spur. Still some life left in it but f it. I’ll park it in the tool box.
Is there really any benefit outside of not needing to buy a whole drum when worn? Or if you like to play with gearing to alter chain speed? I can't feel the difference when cutting on the same saw. Also, you seem to be running that light saw more and more. You might want to invest is a pro 40-45cc saw and have Kevin sausage stuff it. I'm selling this..... Never had the bar on it....
